HxS 2 CHM HTMLHELP 2.0 을 1.0 으로

모바일 기기에서 도움말을 보고픈 생각에... 그동안 Amber HxS Converter 를 찾아다녔다.
그런데, 세상에 회사가 망했는지, 구입할 수도 없었다. -.-;

용케, 바꾸는 방법을 알았다...

How To Convert MS Help 2.x to MS HH 1.x

FAR HTMLexternal link can do this. Not in an automated way but it has all the functions you need to convert H2 to HH in a very short amount of time.
  1. FAR Find & Replace can strip out any unwanted HTML in a few secs. However you will probably find that the existing H2 HTML will be suitable for HTML Help 1.x.
  2. HTML Help 1.x is not UNICODE Enabled. The FAR File command "Set File Encoding" can convert 100's of files from UNICODE to ANSI Double-Byte? in a few seconds.
  3. Table Of Contents: Load your HxT (TOC) file into the FAR "TOC/Index Editor" and "Save As" to a .HHC (TOC) file.
  4. Index: Similarly Load your HxK (Index) file and "Save As" to a .HHK file. If you have Keywords embedded in HTML you want preservered then Find and Replace may help (or ping me back for suggestions).
  5. Create a new HHP project file in the same folder as your new HHC/HHK using the FAR HTML Help Project Editor. Setup your HHP and compile.

1. FAR HTML 을 구해서 (http://www.helpware.net/FAR/far50_inst728.exe 여기 ) 필요없는 HTML을 지워버리자.

2. HTML 도움말 1.x 는 유니코드를 사용하지 않으니, FAR 에 파일 명령을 사용해서 'Set File Encoding'ㅇ,로 변환시키자.

3. 목차파일인 HxT 파일은 TOC/Index Editor 에 넣고 .HHC 파일로 저장하자

4. 인덱스파일인 HxK 파일도 4번과 비슷하게 열어서 .HHK 파일로 저장하자. HTML에 키워드가 포함되어 있다면, Find and Replace 가 도움이 되겠다만, 랍 찬들러에게 도움을 구하자~ ^^

5. HHP 프로젝트 파일을 만들어서 HTML Help 프로젝트 컴파일 하자~

고마운 프로그램을 오픈한... Helpware 그룹과 롭 찬들러에게 감사하다~
이것때문에 HxS Converter 를 만든 곳이 망했는지도... =.=;
